01 / The tour

Two icons,
one guaranteed
departure.

This is our flagship guaranteed-departure tour: three unhurried days in imperial Istanbul and three among the valleys of Cappadocia, joined by two domestic flights so no time is lost on the road. Every departure operates on its fixed 2027 date regardless of group size, giving your clients — and you — complete certainty to lock in international flights and onward plans well in advance.

It is a seat-in-coach programme, which means your agency can say yes to every enquiry: even if you cannot fill a group of your own, book a single seat and your client travels with our scheduled international group, guided in English from start to finish. Net rates are confidential B2B rates provided on request — resell the tour under your brand, with your margin, backed by one local team and 24/7 support on the ground.

02 / Day by day

Seven days,
day by day.

Istanbul's imperial core, then a flight to the cave country of Cappadocia — fully guided, with cultural stops and optional experiences woven in at a relaxed pace. Included meals are noted under each day.

01

Day 1 — Arrival in Istanbul

No meals included

Your clients touch down in Istanbul and are met by our representative for a private transfer to their boutique hotel in the historic heart of the Old City. The rest of the day is theirs to unwind after the journey — perhaps a first, unhurried wander through the cobbled lanes of Sultanahmet, a glass of tea beside the Bosphorus, or simply time to rest before the week ahead. In the evening the guide is on hand for a warm welcome and a short briefing on the days to come.

02

Day 2 — Istanbul's Imperial Old City

Breakfast

A full day spent among the monuments that made Istanbul the capital of two great empires. The morning opens on the Hippodrome, the chariot-racing heart of Byzantine Constantinople, still lined with its ancient obelisks and columns. A few steps away rises the Blue Mosque, celebrated for its six graceful minarets and the cascade of blue İznik tiles that give it its name. From there your clients step into Topkapı Palace, the opulent residence of the Ottoman sultans for almost four centuries, home to the imperial treasury, the harem and terraces with sweeping views over the Golden Horn. The day culminates at the incomparable Hagia Sophia — the sixth-century basilica turned mosque whose immense dome and shimmering golden mosaics have crowned the skyline for 1,500 years. Every entrance fee on the programme is included.

03

Day 3 — Bazaars, the Bosphorus & the Modern City

Breakfast

The morning begins with a visit to a Turkish leather fashion house, where the country's centuries-old leather-working tradition is presented in an elegant showroom and a short runway of the season's designs — an unhurried, no-obligation chance to admire, and if they wish acquire, supple Anatolian leather at its source. Next comes the fragrant Spice Bazaar (Mısır Çarşısı), a vaulted 17th-century market brimming with saffron, dried fruits, fine teas and mountains of Turkish delight. In the afternoon your clients board a Bosphorus cruise, gliding along the strait that divides Europe and Asia past Ottoman palaces, waterfront fortresses and elegant wooden mansions. The day closes in the modern city at bustling Taksim Square and along İstiklal Street, the graceful pedestrian boulevard lined with historic arcades, cafés and the nostalgic red tram.

04

Day 4 — Istanbul to Cappadocia by Domestic Flight

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, a transfer to the airport for the short domestic flight from Istanbul to Kayseri, the gateway to Cappadocia. On arrival your clients are met and driven to their boutique cave hotel, carved into the soft volcanic tuff for which the region is famous. The evening is free to settle in and soak up the extraordinary atmosphere, with dinner served at the hotel — the first of the region's included dinners.

05

Day 5 — Cappadocia, Day One

Breakfast & Dinner

For those who wish, the day can begin long before sunrise with an optional hot-air balloon flight — a silent, unforgettable drift over the fairy chimneys and valleys as the first light spills across the landscape, and the single most iconic experience in all of Cappadocia. After breakfast the guided programme climbs to Uçhisar Castle, the region's highest point, for a commanding panorama over the whole lunar terrain. It continues to the UNESCO-listed Göreme Open-Air Museum, a monastic valley whose rock-cut churches shelter vivid Byzantine frescoes of the life of Christ. Along the way your clients visit a handmade Turkish carpet atelier, where master weavers demonstrate the double-knot technique behind Anatolia's most celebrated craft and read the regional symbols woven into silk and wool. The day also stops in Avanos, the pottery town on the red Kızılırmak river, where a workshop keeps alive a ceramic tradition reaching back to the Hittites with a demonstration at the wheel. It draws to a close among the surreal shapes of Devrent (Imagination) Valley and the striking multi-capped fairy chimneys of Paşabağ (Monks' Valley).

06

Day 6 — Cappadocia, Day Two

Breakfast & Dinner

A second full day reaches the quieter, southern corners of Cappadocia — and, for the adventurous, can open with an optional jeep safari bouncing off-road through the valleys in the soft morning light. The guided route takes in Ortahisar Castle and the old town clustered beneath its towering rock citadel, then a Cappadocian turquoise & gem atelier devoted to turquoise and Anatolian semi-precious stones, where cutting and setting are shown by hand. Continue to the atmospheric Greek-Ottoman village of Mustafapaşa (Sinasos), with its carved stone mansions and faded frescoes, and the rock-cut Keşlik Monastery tucked among the orchards. The highlight for many is the descent into a vast underground city, tunnelled level upon level as a refuge for early Christian communities. In the evening, an optional Turkish Night brings the stay to a lively close — folk dances, whirling dervishes and live music over dinner in a candle-lit cave restaurant.

07

Day 7 — Departure

Breakfast

After a final breakfast among the cave-country views, a transfer to Kayseri Airport for the domestic flight back to Istanbul, timed to connect with your clients' onward international flight home — an easy, well-planned close to a week that has spanned imperial Istanbul and the dreamlike valleys of Cappadocia.

06 / FAQ

Good to
know.

Is this a guaranteed departure tour?

Yes. The tour operates on every published 2027 date regardless of the number of participants, so there is no cancellation due to low bookings — only force majeure. Your clients' dates are locked in the moment they book.

Can my agency book just one or two seats?

Yes — this is a seat-in-coach tour. Even a single traveller joins the scheduled international group, so you can sell to individual clients, couples or small groups with no minimum on your side and no need to form your own group.

What are the rates — are they B2B?

Rates are confidential B2B net rates for the travel trade, provided on request — there is no public pricing. You resell under your own brand and keep your margin.

What if a client wants to book close to the departure date?

Because the tour includes domestic flights, seats are released and sales close 15 days before each departure. For enquiries inside 15 days, please request on a sell-and-report (on-request) basis and wait for our written confirmation before selling to your client.

Which meals are included?

Daily breakfast is included from Day 2 onward (the arrival day has none), and all dinners in Cappadocia are included. Lunches and dinners in Istanbul are not included, leaving your clients free to explore the city's dining.

Are the optional activities included?

No. The hot-air balloon flight, jeep safari and Turkish Night are optional add-ons that can be pre-booked. The balloon flight is weather-dependent and best reserved in advance for peak dates.

What is included in the price?

Six nights' hotel accommodation (3 in an Istanbul boutique hotel, 3 in a Cappadocia cave hotel), the two domestic flights (Istanbul–Kayseri–Istanbul), all programme entrance fees, a licensed English-speaking guide, air-conditioned transport and transfers, the Bosphorus cruise, daily breakfast from Day 2 and all Cappadocia dinners.

In what language is the tour guided, and how big is the group?

The tour is guided in English by Ministry-licensed guides. It is operated as a seat-in-coach group tour of up to around 32 travellers; the same itinerary is available privately on request.
